Amir Abdullah  Muhammed  Abdul-Akbar, Executive  Director  of  the  Caribbean  American  Program  for  Empowerment (USA)., Inc. and  His  Excellency, Ambassador,  Michael  J. King  of  Barbados on  Friday, June  23 at  the  Caribbean  Consular  Corps-New York  presentation of the  launch  of  "The Economic Future  of  the  Caribbean" edited  by  the  late  Dr. Eric  Eustace  Williams, first  Prime  Minister  of  Trinidad  and  Tobago. The event was held at  Long  Island  University, Brooklyn Campus.  Presenters  were:  His  Excellency  Ambassador, Michael  King, Barbados; Professor, Tony Martin of  Wellesley  College, Massachusetts; Mrs. Erica  Williams-Connell, daughter  of  the late Dr. Eric  Williams, and  Dr. Harold  Robertson, Consul  General  of  Trinidad  and  Tobago  to  New  York.
